Sometimes you see something old in the forgotten places of Missouri and you wonder what in the world is that? Jessica Ashley discovered this little building in the Mark Twain National Forest near Protem, Missouri and asked that very question of the Facebook group called Forgotten Missouri. Most answers consisted of: pump house, ice house, root cellar, storm cellar etc. One commenter said it was all of the above. If you think about it, that makes a lot of sense.
